This 1761 home in New Canaan had been thoughtfully renovated before our clients purchased it. Moving from New York City, they were drawn to the home's historic charm—oversized fireplaces, exposed wood beams, and reclaimed floors. Our role was to refine the aesthetic through subtle cosmetic updates, creating a cohesive design that embraced organic materials, a neutral palette, and an overall sense of calm. We balanced modern furnishings with carefully chosen antique pieces, adding depth and character to the interiors. Bold color was introduced through artwork, thoughtfully incorporating the clients’ existing collection to enhance the home’s timeless appeal.
