Honoring the legacy of this historic 1930s residence by renowned architects Aldrich and Delano, our clients fell in love with its distinctive character—from the v-shaped layout and antique brickwork to the intricate iron details and the elegantly curved staircase, a signature of Aldrich and Delano’s work. Though rich in architectural charm, the home was in need of significant restoration.

The project involved a complete interior gut renovation to restore its integrity while seamlessly integrating contemporary updates. Collaborating closely with architect Michael Baushke of Apparatus Architecture and general contractor Hobbs, Inc., we embarked on an extensive renovation that remained historically faithful. By creating a framework that felt as if it could have always been there, we set the stage for the interiors. The result is a home that honors its storied past while embracing a modern sensibility—where historical authenticity and refined design coexist effortlessly.
